Its Time to winterise your narrowboat

Its that time of year again- Autumn, the leaves on the trees on the banks of the Grand Union Canal are beginning to turn some lovely shades of autumn colours.  It won't be long before they begin to fall in earnest.  We have been lucky so far and it's well into October but the weather has been kind with lots of sunny warm days.  Don't be fooled, it wont be long before Mr Jack Frost makes an appearance.  Sure enough the weather is forecast to turn cold at the end of this week.  So if you are not using your narrowboat to liveaboard don't get caught out and make sure that you get your narrowboat winterised and prepared for winter before the frosty weather comes.  If you have your boat moored with us we can of course undertake the winterisation for you should you require.

For those selling their narrowboat through our brokerage service, we now have our own unique vendors area of our web site where vendors can login to see all the boats marketing details; such as how many viewings the boat is achieving online and actual viewings of the boat at our marina.  They can also see other marketing information and as the sale progresses they can find out what stage the sale is at.
