The Crick Boat Show 2013
Due to the success of our 3 sister companies (Whilton Marina, Venetian Marina and Cosgrove Park) sharing a stand in 2012 at the Crick Boat show. We have decided to bring all 3 companies again in 2013.
Our stand will be in the Kingfisher marque where you will be able to visit all 3 companies in one location.
Over the past 12 months all 3 companies have excelled since the Crick Boat show and here’s a snippet of what each company has been up to:
Whilton Marina.Since the Crick Boat show last year we have been working hard behind the scenes to give our customers the best service we can and there have been many improvements to our narrowboat sales system.
• New staff bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the marina
• Booked hand over service with either a marine engineer or a member of the sales team
• New Vendors area on the website. ( see blog 5)
• New filing system for manuals and other important documents for each canal boat
Venetian Marina • Now stocking 30 plus boats at any one time for sale in the marina
• Modern new sales office & chandlery
• Successful
Open day on the 14th April 2013
• Completion of
marina improvements during 2012

Cosgrove Park are holding our open weekends on the 11th - 12th May and 7th - 8th September. We have organised a fun day for our residents and over nighters on the 25th August, that will consist of live music, entertainment and activities for the children (i.e bouncy castle, face painting).
• We restocked our fishing lakes with 2000lb of mixed carp ranging from 1lb to 3lb
• This year we have new café tenants, Steve and Julie. Everything they make is homemade.
• Our New swimming Pool Kiosk and changing rooms are due to be finished in June. The kiosk will be selling beverages and snacks onto a patio area.

This year inside the bags there is the famous Whilton Marina rock, the guide to getting afloat, a narrow boats buyers guide, narrow boats sellers guide and boats for cash leaflet. And
new for 2013 a DVD which includes 25 videos of useful information relating to narrow boats.
In one of those lucky DVDs there will be the
GOLDEN TICKET which will contain the main prize which is
£200 worth of Midland Chandlery Vouchers. Within other DVDs there will be other smaller prizes such as a subscription to the Towpath magazine for a year, 10% off vouchers for the Whilton or Venetian Chandlery and many more exciting prizes.

Whether you are buying or thinking of selling your canal boat leave your details and you will be added onto our mailing list to keep you up to date with our services. Crick Boat Show Special Offers
During the Crick Boat show Whilton Marina and Venetian Marina will be offering
10% discount off normal survey fees for any canal boat bought during the show period. To qualify for this offer all you have to do is pay your £1000 deposit to secure the canal boat and receive the 10% discount off the survey!
Now just in case you find a narrow boat that has already been surveyed we still want to be able to give you a Crick Boat show special offer. So we have decided to give you a free engine service which will include an oil change and new filters, this is typically worth
£250 +VAT.All narrow boats bought during the Crick Boat Show period will receive
FREE use of the marinas slipways for hull surveys. Our in and out slip fee is usually £195.00! Everyone gets a deal with Whilton and Venetian marina.

Facebook and Prizes at Whilton marinaWhilton marina is just 20 minutes down the road from the Crick Boat Show, and many visitors pop down to the marina to view our narrow boats over the weekend.

when you are at the marina over the Crick show period 25th - 27th May 2013, you will be entered into a prize draw to win a prize. By joining our Facebook page you will be kept up to date on what’s happening at the marina and the prize winner will be announced on our Facebook page. Closing date will be 27th May 2013.
Everyone who visits Whilton Marina to view narrow boats over the show period will each receive one voucher per person for a
FREE tea or coffee at the Lockgate café on site. You can purchase your free drink to consume in the café or to take it away.
