So what makes Whilton Marina so special?

We have been trialing a brand new concept for our vendors over the past 12 months and we are proud to that our online sales tracking process has been a huge success. We are the only narrow boat broker that is able to give our vendors a login area to track the marketing and sales process of your canal boat.

The seller is able to login into a password protected area of our website where only they can see the information stored about their boat. On the left hand side of our website there is a button “Vendors Login” this takes you to the Vendors area. Once there you simply need to fill in 3 boxes; the boats name, your email address and your password which we will give you. Once you have logged into your account you can track your boats activity.



The first part of the login area is where you will find the brokerage details for your boat.
Here you can keep track of the following information all dates are included by each task

• Has the signed brokerage form been completed and returned
• Has the boats brochure been produced, reviewed, and approved
• Boats selling price
• Sales status this will be a Yes / No N/A answer
• Additional messages from the marina.

The second area is marketing. Here you can monitor what interest there has been in your boat and where we have advertised your boat.

• Initial emails sent to prospects who are looking for a boat matching yours
• Magazine advertisements
• Social Media advertising

In the final area you can see the amount of times the boat was viewed on the website and at the marina, this information is also dated. From this section you can also follow a link to a dedicated page for your boat.

We don’t know any other narrow boat marina that can offer you all this information at a click of a button. The system is kept up to date real time so the information you are reading is the most current.

This online service is meant in no way to replace talking to any of our sales team at the marina. We are always on hand 7 days a week to discuss the boats progress. The online system is just a convenient way for the seller to track the boats progress 24 hours a day.
