Our new Narrowboat sales base at Venetian Marina has been selling quite a few boats and it has been getting very busy.  We've now got around 15 boats for sale up there (and increasing!).  If you're based in the north west why not go and pop in to speak to David.  We've had great reviews for our new customers at Venetian with lots of chocolates and wine been kindly given to us.  Take a look at Venetian's latest blog.

Our Wigrams Turn sales office has now closed.  The last narrowboat for sale at Wigrams Turn Marina is on its way to Whilton as we speak (except for canal boat Gypsy).  Whilton Marina would like to thank Clare and Adrian who were the sales staff at Wigrams Turn Marina.  Adrian is due to start at Whilton on Sunday and Clare has decided to do other things, so she will not be joining us here at Whilton.  Good Luck and best wishes Clare!

This bank holday weekend there will be a boat show at Redhill Marina in Nottinghamshire (very close to junction 24 of the M1).  We've been told it is a great famiy fun day out for all the family.  So why not go along to see what is going on!  Tickets are £5 and under 12s go free.  Contact 01509 672770 for more information.

As a part of Whilton Marina's staff training,  Becky, Andy and Abi did some 'lock' training.  Andy is a very experience boat mover and explained the working of a canal lock and how a narrowboat goes through a lock and what must happen at each stage!  Take a look at some of our photos below to see how we got on.
