I thought I should share some photos of the Whilton Marina Team producing a Narrowboat from a box (well a container) This series of photos shows a Whilton Marine 44 emerging from its container.
This is the first time we have done this and it was great work by all the Whilton Engineering Team Barry Tuckey and his crane, Richard and I.
This is the Box.
A small man in a yellow coat tried to remove the boat on his own, pound for pound he is very strong but 13 Ton is a bit much even for Mark.
It proved a lot easier to get the boat out with a crane.
The Whilton 44 is now clear of the container and ready to be placed in to the water.
This is the final part of the boats journey for today.
There are now two boats here available to purchase from the Marina, why not visit us so you can start enjoying one of the boats on the UK Canal System
Until Next Time Andy
