I have just come back to work after my days off. I spent the time preparing my narrowboat for cruising this holiday, we like to go out over the Christmas break, the canal is stunning at this time of year even when it is cold, there is nothing nicer than having the fire going, scoffing good food and having a glass or two with friends. Of course we do not forget the wildlife, putting scraps and titbits out results in lots of visitors literally just the outside the boat windows. If it snows, as it is today then our two Jack Russells go crazy chasing the snowballs we throw for them. Well, we break up on Christmas eve, I can't wait. Toni
