The 1st of May is here and the sun is shining, last night we all went to wish “Mikey Boy” well in his retirement, Mike has been around the canals and narrowboats for a long time and we will miss his expertise on everything retailed to the system.

The sun is shinning and things look much better against the green of the trees, the Crick show is nearly here and we all have our fingers crossed for good weather as the last few years have been a bit of wash out. We will be taking an East West Marine narrowboat we had planned to take a standard layout but the popularity of these boats has meant that all our standard layout narrowboats have sold out. We will be taking a 57’ that has lots of extras including bow thrusters, walk through bathroom, 3 KW Inverter and plumbing for a washing machine. I have my finger crossed that we don’t sell her before the show.

Our request for more narrowboats to sell seems to have paid off as four new boats arrived yesterday, we are still looking for more and can even pay cash for the boats.
