We have had a few days of cold weather -9 ºC on Tuesday morning so everything here on the marina is frozen solid. This creates real problems with two narrowboats that are under offer being surveyed today, and a narrowboat we have just sold being craned away to its new home in Devizes in the morning.
Narrowboat Salamander has just had its hull blacked so re-launching her will be a slow and careful job.
I have another overseas customer who is looking at buying a narrowboat this customer is from Andorra, which would be a first for us, with the aid of our website, we have sold boats to customers in Australia, New Zeland, The Falkland Islands, France, and South Africa.
I will keep this blog post short as I’m going to do some work on a post about heating systems on narrowboats today for my next post, so I’m off to get some lunch from John in the Lockgate Café now.
Until Next Time
