Crick Boat Show 2019
Crick Boat Show will celebrate its 20th year in 2019. Whilton Marina along with their 'sister companies’ Venetian Marina and
Cosgrove Park will be attending this years Crick Boat Show over the May Bank Holiday.
We'll be on Stand WW8/15 in the Waterways World Boating Marquee, We are also taking two boats to the show this year that will be for sale, come and see us on pier F29-F30. All the Whilton Marina boats displayed on our stand can be viewed at the Marina which is only a 15 minute drive from the show.

Directions: ·
By car - Exit the M1 motorway from junction 18, at the roundabout take
the first exit on the A428 heading towards West Haddon and Crick, go
straight over the next roundabout (taking the second exit), at the next
roundabout take the first exit. You will go over a bridge and then turn
the next left.
By boat - Crick Marina is located on the Grand Union Canal between bridges 12 and 13.
Previous Crick Boat Shows attended by Whilton Marina
Whilton Marina along with it’s sister companies have attended all of the previous shows. However Cosgrove Park and Venetian
Marina first attended the show in 2012, after Venetian Marina was
purchased by the group in December 2011.

About The Crick Boat Show
The Crick Boat Show is the largest inland waterways show in the UK and has been running
since 2000. The show is a perfect
opportunity to discover all you could ever want to know about the inland
waterways and narrowboating in general.
We have compiled a list of typical
things you will find at the Crick Boat Show and Inland Waterways Festival.
Canal Boats and their accessories
If you’re interested in buying a new
or used canal boat at the show, or you already own a narrowboat, there are a
plethora of different products, services and advice to make the most of. In the marina basin the biggest collection of
new canal boats is on show with many boat builders exhibiting their
craft at the show.
If you’re looking
for a used narrowboat then all of the larger brokers are there like us, Whilton
and Venetian Marina.
Chandlery companies
Chandlery Companies set
up shop displaying a large array of items for sale from engines, solid fuel
stoves, to windlasses;
Boat Insurance and
finance companies
Insurance & Finance companies exhibit, so you can speak to someone face
to face if you’ve got a specific boating question you’d like to ask.
Canal Boat Advice
If its advice that you’re looking
for then there is usually a seminar area where Waterways World, Canal and River
Trust, River Canal Rescue and The Residential Boat Owner’s Association will
answer questions in topic areas including buying a boat, living aboard and boat
maintenance.
Narrowboat rides
If you are thinking about getting into narrow boating as a
hobby, or considering it as your new way of life. Then taking a canal boat trip at the Crick
Boat Show is a great place to experience cruising on the
canal and seeing if you like it!
A Great Day Out At The Crick Boat Show
This makes a great day out if you’re looking for somewhere
to take your kids.There is always plenty for families to do. The Crick Boat Show features a traditional
funfair with carousel, face painting, all weather inflatable area as well as educational play.
Entertainment and live
music
There is live music day and night with acts that have a
boating feel to them, food and craft marquees with a selection of food
available, cookery demonstrations, and a real ale bar.There is something for everyone.
Normal opening dates
The Crick Boat Show is usually held on
the last May bank holiday weekend on the Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday
Monday.
Camping or Mooring at The Show
If you’re coming from far away to

Ticket’s are available in advance, saving up to 15% (advance ticket discount only available up to 4 days before the show) on the
gate price and can be purchased through the Crick Boat Show website.
